On our trip to Vermont, we stopped at the Blue Donkey (mostly because of the funny name). This place doesn’t look like much, but has literally the best burger I’ve ever had. It was fresh, with lettuce, tomato and bacon, and an onion ring on top! Highly Recommended! You don’t understand what “the best burger in the world” could even taste like until you’ve had one from here. Also, the Veggie burgers are the best I’ve ever tasted. A+ Blue Donkey.

[...] Last night I went to Prime 16. It’s definitely a bar atmosphere, which generally I don’t like, but for a great burger and beer-it’s just right. It was difficult to order because, similar to The Gate House, there were so many tasty sounding options of burgers smothered with gouda, onion rings, bacon, or mushrooms. I ordered the Cowboy Burger (Canadian Bacon, Fried Egg, Vermont Cheddar, Romaine Lettuce, and Salsa), which was excellent. I ordered in medium-rare, and next time would probably order it medium instead because it was more on the rare side. But this place is up there with Arielle (yes, the burger is on the $12 lunch prix fixe!), but not quite up to par with the best I’ve ever had at the Blue Donkey. [...]
