While in New York, Julian and I ate at La Carbonara. The restaurant was crowded and the tables were lit by candlelight. The food was unmemorable (we both had average pasta dishes), but what really stands out was the service. The waiters were extremely attentive, in a way I’ve never experienced. If you want to be wined-and-dined, this is the place to go!
