Evelyn’s

I thought this was the only restaurant in town, but not only is that not true, but the urbanspoon ratings for Evelyn’s are so low that I normally would not have even considered going here. This is a typical New England “crab-shack” with overpriced food, a beautiful view, bad service, and junk decor. I really don’t understand why people enjoy going to places that are expensive and eating out of plastic containers and Styrofoam cups. The Lobster Chowder was pretty good, but for almost $8 for a tiny cup’s worth, I felt ripped off. The lobster salad was much worse. Though I thought it was actually fresher lobster than in Stonnington, my mom disagreed. It cost an absurd amount for not more than a tail worth of lobster meat on iceberg lettuce. BUT, the location is fantastic. We had a beautiful view of the sun setting on the water.
