Skippers Dock

August 25, 2011 by Nina

We stopped in Stonnington on our way to Rhode Island. It’s an adorable sleepy town, with no chains or tourists, which makes it a really fun place to visit. The beach is beautiful, and this restaurant has a great view because the deck goes out into the water. So when you’re sitting outside you have to be careful your wallet doesn’t fall in the water! I had a Lobster Grilled Cheese, and my mom had the Lobster Salad with Walnuts. My mom thought the lobster here was fresher than in Tiverton, and I thought it was the other way around. It’s a pretty classic seafood restaurant- with a beautiful view and expensive food served “casually.”
