Uncommon Grounds

November 17, 2011 by Nina

Julian woke me up at 6am Saturday and told me we were going to Saratoga Springs. I was so excited (and half asleep). We arrived before 8am and sat ourselves in this cafe so that I could work on my Grad School applications. We had a lovely pot of tea (only $2.50!), and stayed for two hours. Then we explored Saratoga a bit, and came back, had another pot of tea and worked some more. The first time, the man who took our order was super nice and helpful, but the second time, a woman, was a lot less kind. They get incredibly busy, with a line almost out the door. Good thing there were 10 people working behind the counter (I counted).
