  1. Cafe Eber

    January 20, 2011 by Nina

Cafe Eber is beautifully located in the heart of Augsburg with a view of the Rathaus (Town Hall). They have a great display of cakes, but the service is terrible. We went here because it used to be my dad’s favorite cafe in Augsburg, however, I learned they are under new management. The cakes we had were really awful. I would not go there again.

  2. Trattoria La Casa Vecchia

    January 20, 2011 by Nina

I’ve been to this restaurant three times now. We went there for my birthday dinner and I ate the Spaghetti Bolognese, and I have yet to find it better elsewhere. When we went back for lunch, I got a Salmon Pasta that was in a cream sauce and it was also delicious. One of my favorite restaurants!

  3. Max Liebermann Museum Cafe

    January 20, 2011 by Nina

This cute little villa that belonged to the artist Max Liebermann is now a museum. The cafe has a beautiful view of the Wannsee, and offers drinks such as hot chocolate and cappuccino, which are exceptionally good considering it is a museum cafe.

  4. Basilikum

We found this great little place that many student go to because it’s cheap. It is simple, but brilliant, selling only pasta and salad of high quality. A great find!

  5. Lenotre Eis Patisserie at Ka Da We

    January 20, 2011 by Nina

We went to Ka De We again because it’s just so much fun to eat there. I had a Raspberry Parfait ice cream from Lenotre Eis Patisserie. It was really frozen and tasted as if it had been sitting a long time in the freezer, but delicately made and beautiful.
