We spent a month in India in the summer of 2010. The first two weeks, I volunteered at APSA in Bangalore. After which, we traveled to Mysore, flew to the deserted Goa, and took a train to Delhi. Delhi was insane and I couldn’t wait to get out of the pollution and chaos. So we hired a driver and saw the “Golden Triangle” visiting the Pink city of Jaipur, and the famous Taj Mahal at sunrise in Agra. But we continued on to Amristar to see the largest Sihk Temple and finally, the himalayas. Dharamsala, home to the Dalai Lama, was our favorite part of the trip. India was breathtaking and life changing.
