Julian had just been telling me about this new place for cannolis (this one) when we walked into the beautiful Christmas Market in Union Square. Although it cannot be compared to the wonder of the Christmas Markets in Germany, it was still a lot of fun. Of course, in the US you can’t drink in public, so the Glühwein is nonalcoholic and tastes like bad hot grape juice. But on to the Cannolis. We chose to try the Peanut Butter, Plain, and Chocolate Chocolate. They were all really good (I would say better than most), but still not as good as Lena’s, which are fresher because they are made-to-order. Still, I loved that they play around with fun flavors. Just like with the cupcake fad, Cannoli flavors have become really unique.
