I love going to Germany, not only to visit my family, or to have my morning Butterbrezel,–of course one should only eat these in Bavaria– or to speak German, but rather to eat the best Gelato ever. Gelato is much more common there than in the States. In fact, it generally replaces “ice cream” shops entirely. In Quebec, there were many Gelato shops to choose from, and apparently I hit the jackpot at Tutto. I think I can honestly say “best gelato ever” (and yes I have been to il laboratorio del gelato, but Tutto’s was just so fresh and sooooo creamy. It melted in your mouth. So naturally, we went there twice-in one day.
