Julian and I went to Five Guys the other night, before settling into our car to watch the newest episode of the office. I hadn’t been to Five Guys essentially since the first month it opened (when I was obsessed). I never much liked their hamburgers, but used to love their cajun fries. This time was really disspointing. I don’t know if it’s that the fries were just sitting around for a long time, or that I’ve tasted so many good fries, that these no longer compare. This has actually happened a lot, where places I used to love, or food I used to love, is now disappointing because I have had so much better. Of course, it’s also not difficult to get burgers and fries that are better than at a fast-food chain!
