This beautiful cafe is right near the Schaubühne (the famous theater). Inside is a piano and two great chandeliers. I drank an exceptionally good hot chocolate (Trinkschokolade) and ate a cheesecake with berries on top. The cheesecake was good, but very strange (in comparison to American cheesecake).

We only went here because we were going to the Pergamon Museum (I highly recommend it!). The food here was absolutely horrible. The Berliner Bouletten were warmed up in the microwave! My cake was mediocre. Avoid going here!

This cafe is so fancy looking, I hardly dared to go inside. You can see the beautiful ballroom with chandelier from the street. There are over 20 cakes on display. Once you’ve sat down, you are instantly transported to Paris. I ordered a chocolate mousse cake and hot chocolate. It was delightful. A must see in Berlin.
