On our way back to New Haven from Quebec, we stopped in West Hartford to get groceries at Whole Foods, and were planning on going to Moe’s for dinner. Moe’s was closed, but right next to it was a burger joint, and we all know how much I love a good burger. Turns out this place wasn’t just any-old burger restaurant, but a pretty unique one. You can truly customize your whole burger, from the bun (or on greens) to the toppings (up to 4), the cheese, etc. Like a make your own sundae. Julian had the veggies burger-which was definitely at least the second best behind Blue Donkey-and I had a beef burger (1/3), grilled onions, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, roasted corn and black bean salsa, applewood smoked bacon, fried egg, tilamook cheddar, with roasted garlic aioli on organic mixed greens. MMMMM delish.
