We had two veggie platters with Yemisir Wat (Lentils slowly cooked into a flavorful berbere sauce with a blend of spices), Gomen (Cabbage slowly cooked in a flavorful mild sauce with a blend of spices), Misir Alicha (Green lentils slowly cooked in a flavorful mild sauce with a blend of spices), Kosta, (Spinach and potatoes slowly cooked in a blend of mild spices), Zucchini (Green squash, carrots and onions sauteed in a blend of exotic herbs), Denich Wat (Potatoes cooked with tomatoes and garlic and berebere sauce), and Fosolia (Green beans, carrots and onions sauteed in a blend of exotic herbs). I think this was certainly my favorite Ethiopian restaurant. Usually when I eat Ethiopian, I only enjoy about half of the dishes, but this time I enjoyed them all, and some were exceptionally good. For instance, the Fosolia was one of the best things I’ve had in a while. It was sweet, which sounds odd, but was so wonderful.
