The second farm/farmstead we went to on Julian’s 23rd birthday surprise trip was at least as fun as Taylor Farm. We drove down a windy road for what seemed like 20 minutes in the middle of nowhere, with beautiful trees all around us. When we arrived, it was little more than a tiny cabin, with cows and chickens all around. We walked inside the cabin to find two huge coolers full of home-made ice cream (can you say heaven?), another for cheese, a U.S. map for visitors to place a sticker on their home (an international one too), and an adorable sign that indicated that everything was on the honor system. We were both charmed by the cuteness of the place. I had the black raspberry and chocolate chips ice cream and Julian had the pumpkin. We also bought delicious cheese. We were happy to put the cash into the tin vessel. Also, the ice cream was out of this world-and that coming from two of the best darn ice cream makers!!!
