  1. Shake Shack

    October 12, 2010 by Nina

I went to the Shake Shack on 23rd because 1. It’s one of the highest rated restaurants in New York and 2. It’s right next to eataly.

The burgers are great (I got the Shack Burger), but the shakes are not much better than Sonic. It’s a nice atmosphere to sit in the park, but I wouldn’t wait more than 15 minutes in line. It’s more of the burger and fries place that NY is missing, but most tourists have a better place at home.

  2. Cafeteria

This trendy and mildly expensive restaurant is actually good. I had the blueberry ricotta pancakes, which was okay (could have had more ricotta inside) and Julian had the Mac Attack (mac and cheese sampling–the one with the truffles is best!), which was pretty great. The most special thing here is the hot chocolate. Beautiful and delicious!
